Q. Is the cremation casket weather proof?
A. Our cremation urns have a number of unique features to guarantee that when you lay the casket to rest in a secure place you are safe in the knowledge that the ashes will remain undisturbed. The standard urn has an inner chamber that can be locked tight by the metal sealing disc and airtight gasket. A waterproof adhesive may be used on the thread of the metal sealing disk to ensure that the ashes remain undisturbed and secure.
Q. Will the casket colour deteriorate when left outside?
A. Extensive testing of the container over many years has not resulted in any fading as yet, although any compound will eventually become a victim of the elements.
Q. How can I ensure that the ashes are not compromised?
A. You can add a silicone sealant to the screw grooves of the stopper at the base of the casket and turn until as tight as possible. This will make it virtually impossible for any contaminant to reach the ashes. It is not possible to offer a complete guarantee that extremes of temperature will not affect contents.
Q. Will the colours on the personalised plaque fade?
A. The inks used in the printing process are UV resistant and will remain vibrant and strong for life if kept out of absolute direct sunlight. These same inks are used for exterior signage in many parts of remote Australia nowadays.
Q. How do I send you a photograph?
A. Original photographs can be scanned into an image file and attached to this form or you can post the photograph to our address shown on our Contact page. Every care is taken with your photographs and will be returned with the order.
